KIERAN LEONG, DO (2018-2019)

Dr. Kieran Leong is from Edmonton, Canada. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for his undergraduate studies, earning bachelor degrees in medical microbiology and immunology and french. He then went on to medical school at Touro College in New York City. He then trained at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans for his combined internal medicine/pediatrics residency and then pursued fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the University of Minnesota. His publications in pediatric cardiology has helped to contribute to advancements in the areas of procedural cardiology. He has a keen interest in the development of medical devices in cardiac critical care. The project he led during his fellowship focused on proning patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome and following graduation he will be completing an adult critical care fellowship at the University of Maryland.
