ANDREW KHAIR, PhD (2016-2017)

Andrew Khair received his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University. While completing this degree, Andrew became involved in several business plan competitions where he grew passionate about entrepreneurship in medical devices.

Throughout his career, Andrew has worked with key opinion leaders to provide a therapy for various maladies such as Type 2 diabetes, sleep apnea, cardiac dysfunction, and spinal abnormalities in adolescents. He has worked for multiple small startup companies in a variety of roles.

Currently, Andrew is an affiliate member of the Medical Industry Leadership Institute at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota where he is completing an Executive MBA (anticipated completion May of 2017). Prior to that, Andrew earned a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University.

When he is not in school, Andrew enjoys playing sports, watching Philadelphia based sports teams compete, and spending time with his wife and two sons.
