Dr. Scandurra is CEO of Aria CV, Inc, a company he co-founded to develop a medical device to treat pulmonary hypertension. Before Aria, Dr. Scandurra served as a Senior Fellow in the Medical Devices Center at the University of Minnesota, where he and his team invented the technology now being commercialized by Aria. Dr. Scandurra graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine, obtained postdoctoral clinical training in cardiology from the University of Sydney, and worked as a veterinarian in a referral veterinary hospital in Wellington, New Zealand where he focused on treating companion animals with heart disease. In addition to a DVM degree, he has bachelor's and master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering.
