ERIC LITTLE, PhD, JD (2009-2010)
Eric Little is a Fellow at the Medical Devices Center at the University of Minnesota. Prior to joining the MDC, Eric was a Senior Applications Engineer at MTS Systems Corporation where he led cross-functional development teams to concept, cost, design, engineer and market custom testing systems for the automotive, aerospace, bio-mechanical and alternative energy markets. Eric has served as an engineering instructor at Michigan Technological University, an adjunct professor of mechanical engineering at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and an invited research associate at BorgWarner Corporation. He has published more than 20 technical papers and articles, and presented numerous training classes/technical sessions related to automatic controls, vibration, acoustics and NVH phenomenon. Eric received a Bachelors in Business and PhD in Mechanical Engineering-Engineering Mechanics from Michigan Technological University and a Juris Doctor in law from William Mitchell College of Law with an intellectual property focus.
